Graduate Program in Neuroscience
The Sidney Frank Hall for Life Sciences houses labs, research equipment, and administrative spaces for faculty, students and staff in the departments of Neuroscience and Molecular Biology, Cellular Biology, and Biochemistry. The building offers a large common area, conference rooms, an auditorium, a dedicated classroom for first-year core courses, and office space with workstations for each first-year student.
The Laboratories for Molecular Medicine at 70 Ship St. support research in genetics, genomics, proteomics, pharmacology, and pathology. Its open design fosters collaboration and advances translational research. Nearby are Brown’s Warren Alpert Medical School and major hospital research centers. The building houses core facilities and faculty from multiple biomedical departments.
The Biomedical Center is immediately adjacent to the Sidney Frank Life Sciences Building. It houses research laboratories and Brown's Flow Cytometry Facility. Faculty in Microbiology and Immunology, Ecology and Evolutionary Biology,are located in the Biomedical Center.
Brown’s Sciences Library offers print and digital resources supporting medicine, neuroscience, psychology, biology, engineering, and more. The Friedman Study Center provides study spaces, seminar rooms, multimedia stations, Wi-Fi, and a café, with staff offering tech support, research help, and training for individuals and groups.
